Item to Equip setting in item granter is broken

Summary

I am unable to change the setting Item to Equip in the item granter device.

  1. Place down the item granter device
  2. Toggle on Equip Granted Item to be able to select Item to Equip
  3. You cannot change Item to Equip

Expected Result

You can change Item to Equip setting

Observed Result

You cannot change Item to Equip

Item to Equip works only with device set to grant all items in the list, otherwise if you grant one item why do you want to choose which one to equip?
Despite that the equip option doesnt work anyways.

I see, I have 1300 items in my item granter and was gonna ask for a feature request where we can use verse to choose the item to equip variable. So I can make it grant item 800 and equip item 800 so the player will hold that item

supposedly if you grant only one item from the list, you can do that with verse and the equip granted item should work, but it doesnt if the inventory is full, it will drop the item next to the player

Hey Finest!

This is by design. Some changes were made in 38.00 -

Item Granter: Renamed Item to Grant option to Item to Equip.

  • When Grant is set to Current Item: Item to Equip is grayed and not editable.

  • When Grant is set to All Item and Equip Granted Item option is enabled: Item to Equip is editable.

So now when granting current item and equip granted item true what should happen if receiver’s inventory is full:
A) Drop items at player location options
B) Equip and drop previously equipped item at player location
??

FORT-1046099 has been ‘Closed’. This is working as intended by design.
