Item provider: Award event is triggered although item already exists and award condition “only if not in possession”

Summary

I want to trigger something when the item giver device awards an item - Likewise, the trigger should NOT be triggered if the item giver does not award the item (again) because it is already in the player’s possession.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Set up the object donor device and as an award condition “only if not in possession”

  2. A trigger that triggers an event when the item has been awarded

Expected Result

The trigger is only triggered if the item is not yet in the player’s inventory and the item is actually assigned - i.e. not if the item is already in the inventory

Observed Result

The trigger is always triggered, even if the item is already in the player’s inventory and is not assigned again
