Summary
When using an item granter with an unequippable item/resource (e.g. a key), “Equip Granted Item” checked, and Drop at Players Location set to “Never”, a player will not be able to switch item slots by scrolling anymore.
Only after respawning will they be able to use their item slots again.
On controller most players scroll through the item list, meaning the only way for them to play normally again is by respawning. On PC a player is able to manually switch to a specific numbered item slot (1-6), and after that scrolling through the items works again.

Steps to Reproduce

Place item granter device with an unequippable item/resource (e.g. a key), “Equip Granted Item” checked, and Drop at Players Location set to “Never”.

Grant Item in item granter to player (method doesn’t matter)

(optional) Pick up another item (from the floor, or item placer, doesn’t matter)

Try to scroll through your items in the 1-6 slots
Expected Result
Player is able to scroll through their items and equip whichever they want
Observed Result
Player is unable to switch the item they have equipped at the time of the Item grant. They are only able to switch upon respawn, or on PC by selecting a specific item slot using a bound key for that item slot (usually number keys 1-6)
