Issues with objects flickering when the camera moves forward or backward

Hello!

I’m working on rendering an animation of a house. When the camera moves along the house, there are no issues, but when the camera starts moving toward the house or away from it, some objects begin to flicker. In this video, you can see how the roof and the space under the steps are flickering.

Unfortunately, no matter what I tried or what forum threads I read, nothing helped to solve this problem.

Also, when the camera moved forward/backward, the lighting under the roof space flickered. However, changing the Ray Lighting Mode setting to Hit Lighting fixed this issue. I tried replacing the material of these flickering objects with a textureless material, but that didn’t help either. I enabled and disabled anti-aliasing, tried different modes, added and removed console commands, but the problem remained unresolved.

Can anyone help me?

that is too much normal map and/or geometric detail. the boards on the roof have very thin lines of lighting on it. i guess the stairs have bevels too? it’s aliasing across the scanlines. check the anti aliasing options for a fix. more samples or a different method or whatever.

Thanks for the answer, I’ll try to fix it. The boards were made using the Floor Generator in 3ds Max, and the strips along the roof are just regular lines
