I can’t build world partition mini map and HLODs in UE5.5 (5.5.1, 5.5.2) - it just gets stuck at random percent.
I have tried to create new empty project 3rd person project - and issue still persists in a new clean project. It works fine in UE 5.3, for example building minimap for default open world level takes less than a minute in 5.3, and i tried to wait for two hours on the same task in 5.5.1 and 5.5.2
Has anyone else experienced this?
Tried to look into the logs and it looks like it is caused by ShaderCompileWorker terminates unexpectedly, and return code -1073741819
The Build Status hangs there for hours. I just reinstalled VS and got a successful build of the project. Now, I’m trying to build the levels, and… nothing. I’ll check the logs tomorrow.
It’s a bug, 2 hotfixes have been made and it still doesn’t work. You can build it normally and wait 1 minute or more, then select all actors have been created and in details panel press build HLOD.
