I’m testing a workflow between Houdini, C4d, and UE for Motion Graphics Production. The idea is to make animation and that stuff in Houdini or C4D, and export Alembic sequences to UE for shading, Lighting and Rendering, and probably some of Post production.
Firstable is pretty slow to import an Alembic sequece from Houdini ( 1 gb, 125k polygons ), but beyond that, after import, the sequence works fine in the Level Sequencer. The real problem is with the quality of visualization, either in viewport or in render, the edges of the meshes are pretty jagged I would think that is a problem of antialiasing, but i’m pretty new in UE, so i’m not sure.
How could I solve this to render a high quality animation?
