So like I posted in the header, I’m having an issue with the Refraction of the glass working with my auto DOF. You can see an example of this in the video. You can also see what the intended appearance is from when the DOF is focused on the furthest away point.
I have the mat set to “After DOF” in the translucency pass but this appears to not be working with the auto adjust.
So, as a note, I think the issue here is that because the DOF is causing the background to blur, the sharpness of the refraction also goes down. Beginning to think there isn’t REALLY a way I can fix this… What I might have to do is find a better way to have the normal information read on the transparent material.
If anyone comes up with an idea in the meantime though, I’m all ears haha.
