Summary

A few months ago I started a new UEFN Project. Mid-way through development the boats spawned from the boat devices started to act strangely. Whenever a boat comes in contact with a wall or terrain, it fazes through it instead of colliding with it. When glitching through terrain, the boat gets periodically teleported to the top of the terrain. I initially thought the bug was only going to occur when testing my project in UEFN, but after publishing it, it still happens in Fortnite itself. I have no idea why this glitch is happening. I have no idea what caused it. - UPDATE 6/15 - The boat only seems to faze through objects when someone is in the driver’s seat. If I boost into a wall then switch to the passenger seat, it collides as normal.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Spawn in a boat device
  2. Start a play session
  3. Collide with any terrain or wall

Expected Result

You should collide with the terrain/wall.

Observed Result

You glitch through it.

One additional note is that the issue didn’t always happen. It just randomly started to happen mid-way through developing my map.

The status of FORT-761396 incident has been moved from ‘Ready for QA’ to ‘Closed’. Resolution Reason: ‘Duplicate’

They fixed it in the latest update.
