Issue: Use Two Sided Lighting doesn't work

Hi Guys!

I found today a very serious error with the burning lightmass on two sided material objects." Use Two Sided Lighting" flag does not work. Indirect lights are not displayed on two sided objects. This is a serious problem in the case of baking lights for objects such as curtains, rags, clothes etc.

Look at the image. Left side of the image shows the same object with corect side and lightng, on the rights side is the same object rotated 180 degrees - there is no inderict lighting from point light bounce or skylight.

All object have Use Two Sided Lighting set to True.

Is there any solution for error like this?

Encountered the same issue.
I think where is no solution for the moment.
According to UE Documentation: “Two Sided does not work correctly with static lighting, since the mesh still uses only a single UV set for light mapping. As a result, two sided materials with static lighting will be shaded the same on both sides”

Hey there, I just resolved the issue. I set the shading model to

Two-Sided Foliage, and then helped bake static lighting onto the “translucent side” of my mesh.

Hope this helps.
Best,
Nick
