Thank you for your continued support.
This issue did not occur in 5.4, but after updating to 5.6.1, I can no longer change the fixture in the red circle of the attached image in DMX in general.
To work around the issue, the only way is to delete the actors and recreate them, which greatly impacts the editing iteration. I would like to mitigate the impact, at least.
If there is a solution or a workaround that requires fewer steps, could you please let me know?
I have confirmed the issue occurs in vanilla 5.6.1 after CL44821327, as well.
Thanks for sharing this issue with us. I had a quick look today and I was not able to repro this in latest 5.7. Would you be kind enough to record us a quick repro video of the behavior you are experiencing?
Have you checked if you see your fixtures in the DMX Library? Are they there or gone ?

I checked this again, and, I found, unfortunately, the issue still occurs in 5.7 Preview, as well. I have attached a video. I recorded this using a project I created based on the DMX template in a vanilla 5.7 Preview. You should see that the fixture cannot be changed even if selected.

Yes, it does exist. The issue is just that a fixture that has been assigned can no longer be changed. For an empty slot, it can only be assigned once at the beginning.
- I’ve tested this on more than 20 PCs, and the same issue occurs on them.
- I’ve tested this on Windows 11 24H2 (Japanese version).
- I’ve tested this with the Editor’s language set to both English and Japanese.
