Island Permission Not Working In Creative 1.0

Summary

Whenever I set my island permission to private then try to add someone to it so they can edit it doesnt work, all it does it disappears and the only way anyone else can have edits on the map is by switching the permissons to everyone, and by doing that some people that you dont want to have edits might mess up your map. Please fix this ASAP.

Hi @Phoenix2985 ,
You need to create a team for this then you control access via the content browser for the project
sam system as transfer a project
Fortnite Creative projects to a team using Content Browser. - General / Issues and Bug Reporting - Epic Developer Community Forums

@Jimbohalo10 They are referring to a FNC bug, to my knowledge you are not supposed to have FNC islands in a team (Hence previous workarounds were fixed)
For example it now won’t let you revert any FNC island unless it’s moved to No Team

(I am the “Original Owner”)

I can also confirm the bug’s existence, the only way I could give Island Edit permission was by setting it to “Everyone”

@Mineblo ,
Thanks , that’s IMHO strange. also UEFN is so easy to break using a hack to the source of the original engine!.

Possibly deliberate to make it Everyone; therefore, technically, there cannot be any security breach!

FNC is now built on a special version of UE, which encrypts all internal binaries to prevent reverse engineering of the game code.
