Island Creator Program Bug

I just tried to apply to the Island Creator program and it tells me this:

"Your account is not eligible. Check that you meet the eligibility requirements.

To qualify as an island creator, your Epic account must have first logged into Fortnite at least 90 days before applying, and 21 of your last 90 days must include island editing in Fortnite Creative and/or UEFN."

  • But, I’ve been playing Fortnite on this account for years, and I have tons of hours in creative mode. Is this a bug? I’ve been really excited to engage with UEFN and the Economy 2.0 but now I have this bug so I can’t join? Please help :frowning:
  • Even if someone else was new to Fortnite Creative, how can someone check their progress on their hours?

Can this be fixed please?

I have the same problem, contacted support, nothing… I’ve decided to just spend 30 minutes a day in creative for 21 days now; playing the waiting game.

This is not a bug. Unfortunately, you must have at least 2,160 hours on Fortnite, and 504 hours in creative. I too have been playing for years, ever since season 4 (on my current account season 5), but I still don’t qualify.

Hello Guys

I have the same problem. I play Fortnite for years and I played CREATIVE almost everyday for the last 3/4 months. I was approved as a CREATOR but every time I try to register as a ISLAND CREATOR the same message the first person quoted above comes up saying that I do not qualify allegedly for the 90 days and last 21 days rule.

Did any of you get this issue solved in your guys account?

Can you share anything you did to get this solved?

Hello! I am also experiencing this issue. Before anything I can assure you that I know how to read and I understand the eligibility requirements. In fact, I even meet these eligibility requirements. I have met the eligibility requirements for many days now.

Am I to understand that the eligibility requirements outlined by your site are not the eligibility requirements? I hope not, because that would be extremely embarrassing for a multi-billion dollar company.

I agree that triage is absolutely necessary.

Same issues here, been editing in Creative and UEFN for many weeks now and still no access to Island Creator even though I meet all requirements.

Has anyone been able to get in contact with support and find a fix?

No. I guess the only thing to do is keep posting until someone actually looks at it.

I probably got lucky, but I was able to join the program after I just kept playing for a few more days. I would suggest anyone else to open a support post in the bug reporting section.

Hopefully you guys do not get all of your progress erased. I had my account pass the 30 day required and 10 days out of the 7 required in UEFN/UE/Creative. Now all of a sudden after talking to support everything has been reset to zero.
