I haven’t posted before - no idea what category to assign this question to.
Anyway I’m encountering some visual jitter/stutter/whatever it’s called. It seems to be related to ambient occlusion as when I toggle that off the issue disappears. Also this jitter only happens when the ‘show’ dialog is toggled.
Here’s what the issue looks like.
Some info
- Unreal Engine v5.0.2
- The project is stackobot.
- The asset being viewed has the path All/Content/StackOBot/Characters/Bot/Mesh/SK_Bot
- I tried modifying various monitor settings e.g. turn off hdr, window scaling, toggled some compatibility settings, reproduced on my second 1080p monitor instead of my 2k monitor. All potential solutions I found elsewhere but none helped
- Relevant specs
- i7-9700K
- RTX 3080
- monitors: VG27AQ, VG259Q
- Windows 10
This jitter has been happening elsewhere while using UE5 - this was just the latest and most easily reproducible scenario. Any help in solving this would be appreciated
