Is there guideline for CAD tessellation values

Hello

I’m trying to find out good workflows to import CAD models to Unreal Engine and I have question about Datasmith Tessellation.

Are there any best practices or tips how to do efficient tessellation for objects of different sizes? If I have e.g. CAD model of car’s motor, it isn’t very efficient to use same values to bolts, battery or other components, right?

When I have tried to search guidelines for this problem, I have seen one text from the Pixyz documentation where there was:”Use this [high quality preset] setting if you wish to obtain a very dense and precise mesh (quality is a priority over low-density) OR if you are importing a very small asset (under 1cm)”. This setting was sag/chord 0,1mm value.

I will appreciate your help with this situation.
