Is there a way to prevent occlusion culling from considering my character an obstacle?

My problem is that when I move fast the camera appear flickering issues on landscape, It is fault of occlusion culling, as my player is in front of the camera then my player is an obstacle and all in front of him is temporally occluded. I want not set off the occlusion culling because give more fps with this active, is exist some way to do that the occlusion culling not considerer to my third person character as an obstacle?
