Is thee a way to dim and blur planar reflections in UE4 ?
Reflection probes and screen space reflections have artifacts that planar reflections don’t have, but they allow to dim the level of reflectivity by playing with the roughness parameter of the material.
With planar reflection, everything seems always almost mirror-like no matter the roughness of the material, and I can’t find a way to make them less visible either (like lowering the intensity of the reflection even if perfectly sharp).
Is there a a workaround or something that I’m missing? Thanks a lot.
