Can you show the locations of your pontoons, and the properties of all of them? I’m really interested in this one!
Would never use pontoons(multiple) on a large ship…
For one its expensive. For 2, you probably get more realistic results off just one point and aligning the ship to that normal – with large stuff.
@MostHost_LA makes a good point. Nothing huge like that is going to bob around. A single somewhat stable pontoon in the center and constant SLOW adjustments to the surface normal of the water to account for waves would likely be the best option. The slow adjustments would make fast passing waves not make the ship adjust the Y axis so fast it would act like a dirt bike on a hill, but if there were a large adjustment inertia would still seem to act appropriately.
It looks like your Center of Mass is all they way at the aft castle.
Inside of the Static Mesh Component you will find a setting called Center of Mass offset, move it forward. For stability I also recommend to move the Center of mass further down.
