So I wanted to setup good facial tracking but I will not buy a whole iphone X just for the front facing camera that has a depth scanner. I understand I can just use a webcam for 2D image tracking but the depth camera on the iPhone makes it work infinitely better for facial tracking. Does anyone know of any alternatives that have the AR facial depth tracking methods for unreal that do not involve the iphone. I have seen all of unreals videos and none of their capture systems headgear had an iphone on their head rigg so I know something out there exists. Or does anyone know what cameras they were using on their live avatar capture headsets?
