Is Replication and Reliability made with UDP or TCP?

Hello !

Because I’m quite aware of optimisation of networking, and because I wanna use it, I would like to know if the Replication of data / function call (and the Reliability) are made with TCP, with UDP or both of them.

If it is with UDP I would like to know how the Reliability is ensured ?

According to this source Unreal Engine uses UDP for replication.
