Is proxy merge actors broken in 4.25?

Ok my bad, I was trying to merge two of the default plane objects, not meshes. When I imported a quad as fbx, duplicated it a few times and ran the same thing, it works. I guess merge actors only works on mesh assets.

I am using the ‘merge actors’ tool to merge some meshes, just testing out how it works, and the first tab works fine but this tab doesn’t seem to do anything - I hit merge and the save dialogue pops up and I hit save and the dialogue closes, but there is no file saved. Am I doing something wrong?
