so there’s a blender tutorial which shows how it’s possible to have tree Planes, not normal planes where you slap a texture on it but planes which interacts with light as it moves
I’ve tried to implement it normally and it works but it doesn’t feel as good as it interacts in blender, I know that blender uses a render engine similar to Pathtracer of UE5 but I was wondering if it was possible to replicate that in UE5 since the other trees are being rendered in same way as the plane image of tree
here are the files that I’ve generated although the possibilities are low but if it works then it’d solve a huge issue for me which is bottlenecking my gpu in exterior scenes
