Is it possible to render widgets to a texture?


I’ve got some curved screens in my scene which I want to display text and images etc. At the moment i’ve been using ufna’s vaquole UI plugin to show images from a folder on my machine, but i’d like to be able to make some quite nifty text arrangements using the new text features in widgets but can’t see how you might get the output of this to appear on a texture. I’ve seen that on the roadmap they plan to introduce the widgets in 3D space but that’s not the same as a texture (or maybe it is under the hood?)

If anyone’s found a way of doing this i’d be very interested to hear about it.
