is it possible to enable chaos destruction for nanite mesh?

It is possible. I’ve found it works better if you create a geometry collection from a non nanite mesh and then enable nanite on the collection once it’s created.

Can you hi light how to do this. With the collection ,selected the option to turn on Nanite is missing for me. Selecting a static mesh the option is available but for the collection its not ?

I was able to enable it only by opening “rest collection” which is basically original mesh, but hen it looks like this

Enabling Nanites for GeometryCollections makes the mesh disappear.
Anyone know a solution?

For anyone who may see this in the future, as of version 5.2 yes you can use Nanite for chaos meshes, also if you’re having an issue like ATomCZ1 where the material isn’t rendering correctly make sure in your material that you have “Used with Nanite” enabled in the material properties under the usage category, it’ll fix that.
