Is it normal for my data to not be available for a live map?

I have posted about this before and the I think staff did not understand my question, so I will try again to ask the question more clearly. I started working on a different computer around the same time as an ecosystem update, and now when I load the map in UEFN, only the initial snapshot seems to load. Now, I am not exactly sure how the snapshot system works, but it seems like it isn’t working as expected in this case. The reason is, I have uploaded private versions of the map and published them at least a dozen times. Currently, there is a functioning version of my map live in Fortnite Creative, but when I open the project in UEFN it only loads the initial snapshot.

Expected Result: Current live version of the map would be downloaded on new PC running UEFN, and a snapshot would be created when the private version is uploaded/published.

Current Result: When I started working on a new PC, I can only access the initial snapshot.

TL;DR: Is there any way to recover my data, which is currently playable in FN Creative?

Hey TTV, pushing your changes to the island session is a different thing from creating a version control snapshot. One is done by pressing the “Push Changes” button at the top of the editor, and the other is done using the “Check-in changes” at the bottom right of the editor.

If you have lost your locally saved project and there was no version control snapshot created, unfortunately, there won’t be a way to retrieve it.

Here is some information about using the version control CLI Unreal Revision Control Command Line Interface

Be sure to regularly create snapshots in your project containing single or few units of change, and a descriptive message saying what was changed. You may just find yourself going through these one day to try and figure out why your project is broken.

I didn’t simply “push changes”, I uploaded a private version, and published the map. The map was approved and is currently live.

I dont think uploading and publishing private version creates a snapshot, just use the check in at the bottom right corner to make one

Both are uploading project builds, not UEFN projects
