Is it good practise to limit frame rate on mobile to 30 fps instead 60?

In some games I saw limit frame rate to 30 fps. Is there any advantage of this?

yes it saves battery. because one of the biggest things to hurt battery time is heat, you don’t want the gpu on the mobile getting warmer than it needs to be - so depending on your experience/game/… it is a good idea to do so.

Thanks for support

what are the target specs of mobile? most phones now, even that are 5 years old, are capable of 60 fps. But lots of phones don’t support 60 fps at a UHD resolution, especially with all the background processes and apps running. That’ll drain battery fast and overheat the hardware, or simply won’t work. Why not make it an option to switch between 30 and 60?
