"Is default meshpaint texture" does not work.

For as long as I can remember, the “is Is default mesh-paint texture” check box in the material has never ever worked. Am I doing something wrong?

I just Googled “Is Default Meshpaint Texture” due to the same issue and this forum post was the only result. I’m not sure how Unreal is selecting the mesh pain texture to use from the material. Regardless of if I enable this option on a Param2D, it always selects the same texture.
