The time it takes for the material to update when I click Apply in the material editor takes a very long time. It seem to take 40 seconds before it goes from the gray checkered boxes to the actual material preview. This can’t be normal as my very old and bad desktop PC is applying the material changes to the same material setup almost instantly!
The compiling of shaders at the loading of a level is fast, but the updating of the material preview takes a long time, which makes iterating fast almost impossible. Is anyone else noticing the same issue?
