Hi everyone,
I’m very new to Unreal Engine, so please bear with me!
My goal is to achieve AAA-quality visuals on Android. For now, I’m not concerned about performance; I just want to understand if this level of visual fidelity is even possible on Android within Unreal Engine.
Currently, when I preview my game in Android (I am still in the editor just changed the preview platform: Settings->Preview Platform->Android->Generic Android Vulkan), the graphics look incredibly poor – almost unbelievably low quality compared to what I see in the windows version. It’s much worse than I expected, and frankly, looks like something from decades ago.
I haven’t changed any settings at all. I literally just switched the preview mode to Android.
Could anyone tell me if achieving high-fidelity visuals on Android in Unreal Engine is feasible, and if so, what might be causing this drastic drop in quality in the preview?
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!
