I actually came back to the thread just now thinking the same thing and to update that lol. I’ve submitted I believe 2 updates so far since the day after the Twitch Announcement. But I think after the build, that’ll probably be the last one for a little since they are probably almost done going through them and if I don’t hear back soon, then it’s unlikely it would make a difference at that point. If at anything maybe an update once in a blue moon after it but I just want to make sure I’m getting them as much as I can to give me the best shot while it’s still possible of course but definitely don’t want to spam their inbox with all the incoming email it’s probably getting
Fingers crossed they announce a couple more tomorrow!
Just devide 5 000 000 by 50 000 and you get 100 projects. Well in fact there are lots of good things in the community - technically and by content. But we see very personal politic for example in Steam where many “indies” go without greenlight directly to market but others are forced to boil among young lols and ggs. So I wait something similar here. Can I get know what is supposed to be as “cool things”? We all admire our collegues when they show high results while projects are still in development - but when we play finished games that are polished and have top graphics - well, sometimes we disappoint cuz there is nothing interesting and we understand that game was done under impressions from others. I just imagine how many clones of shooters Epics get. Just allow they are all “cool”. What then? They decide by innovations, or creative design, or even narrative or music?
Does anyone know how Epic is deciding how much money to give to each project? What are the variables that they are taking into account?
No one has received anything close to the full 50k yet and its hard to perdict how much money a certain project will get. Ive certainly been surprised by how much or how little some of the winners have received.
Hi,
We just Submitted our game for Dev consideration and though we would share it here.
We really believe our game is something special and have taken it as far as we can without any financial assistance. We are doing all we can to take it to full commercial release on steam so as well as our dev application we also have a kickstarter running and a steam greenlight page. We would really appreciate it if you vote for us and if you can donate a couple of dollars. http://kck.st/1y4Rzro
So nice this thread to keep us updated. Before GDC we submitted our request for Red Goddess game in development, please take a look this trailer:

We know that there is many people awaiting their reply, so now cross the finger
Thanks to Epic for this great opportunity to help the people to reach their projects. There’s many good developers out there doing great things! Best of luck to!
Hey InnerDream, I would like to make a suggestion if possible. The voice at the beginning sounds like it was recorded cheaply. How did you record the audio? If you need tips let me know, I have years of voice recording experience.
Tyro started as a simple idea which we came up with at Global Game Jam 2015. We decided to continue working on the game and we’ve put a few months into development to complete the demo. This is our product so far!
