We waited 5 months without our demo being downloaded, so I would say more than that.
And you don’t get negative answers, if you’re not selected there won’t be any feedback.
I really wish that you guys would support Ground Branch being made by Blackfoot Studios. The game is freaking awesome even in the state it is now! They need some more funding to help get speed up the process. Here are a few videos of their mose recent build. These guys deserve so much more love then they are getting now & are very committed on getting something out there! As you can see in these videos how much fun we are having even in the state the game is in right now. They need more funding to speed up the process of making the game. Their commitment to the community alone should be enough to support them!

Thank You.
I’m new to this thread, Nice information guys.
Please don’t use this important community discussion to advertise projects. We all have projects, we all think they deserve some love, there are places to talk about them. This isn’t one of those places.
I have a couple questions, one is Epic Games still offering this ? 2. While this could be in another forum, I’m sure successful developers who received this will keep an eye on this forum who can help me. I am working on a roleplaying game that will have different features. I am excellent on the ideas and while I did have to purchase some assets from the marketplace (blueprints for the more complex features), I am really weak on the animation and the artwork. I am a fast learner however while I do make decent money, I can’t however purchase a multiple number of books and software that will help me out, so if anyone can recommend a really good product that will help with cinematics/trailers, animation and artwork (drawing props) I would really appreciate it. Thank you.
Hey all, Sorry for going dark on for so long! We’ve been heads down on a number of initiatives, but I wanted to let know where we stand with the program at this time
Today, we announced another round of awards for stellar work in the training and education space. We’ve been behind in the program’s review cycle for a while due to the vast number of great projects that have made it their way across the submission form. On that note, we’ve drastically shortened the review times and are looking at even more ways to minimize turnaround for involved. I’ll have more info on that in a bit, but do know that we are getting our eyes on projects and reviewing them as they come in
To answer the questions regarding the fund and if we’re still pursuing it - absolutely - We’ll have more rewards announced soon and more updates to the process around the program as well.
Keep the great work up! If anyone has any questions I’ll answer them as I can.
Is it still worthwhile to submit a project, at this late a date?
Yep! We anticipate the program will go on for quite some time to come. I encourage anyone that’s considering it to dive on it!
Awesome!
Big congrats for all recipients!
I had a click on a submission I sent last August in the first week of January. Still optimistic over here! =P
I’m currently working an a VR experience using Unreal Engine. However, there are a few parts of the experience where the viewer will see some pre-rendered content, currently we are using Maya for this, Would 100% of the projects visuals need to be created natively in Unreal to qualify for the grants? Or does the project just need to be compiled/published/powered by Unreal when its all said and done?
Any possibility of updating the link? The submitted project went from [10% complete] to [10% to completion] over 6 months and I’d hate to wait another 6-9 months.
Hello, i have a question If the project is impressive enough, is there a that Epic might be interested in sporting a project or offer more direct support for it?
This! While the financial support is awesome it would be great to have some sort of official support.
Hey, I just watched the livestream from GDC, anyway we can get more information about the Oculus and Vive grants? Thank you
BTW - is this program still running ? I sent an application a week ago and haven’t received any reply at all. Our game is pretty shiny so i doubt the it is getting ignored because of quality. The thought came up that this program might not be actively running anymore.
You should have received a confirmation email automatically. Other than that, unless your project is making headlines, the response time is about 6 months.
