Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open a project in Unreal Engine 5.8.3.

  2. Keep the project open. Make sure it is visible on the laptops built-in display.

  3. Watch the display for changes, in brightness. The issue can happen when the project is just sitting open no action needed.

Expected Result

The screen brightness should remain stable, without any fluctuations.

Observed Result

The screen brightness fluctuates intermittently while the Unreal Engine project is open and visible. The entire display appears to become slightly brighter or darker, as if the backlight intensity were oscillating.

Moving the mouse usually makes the fluctuations more noticeable, but the issue can occur without mouse movement.
