Interchange Skeletal mesh import does not respect FBX Material order

Hello,

We’re having an issue with interchange where reimported Skeletal Meshes (from and FBX file) have their material order changed. We have set the order very specifically in the FBX to work with existing mutable systems, which I read that Interchange would adhere to, but every time we use Interchange pipelines it will reset it to something random. We attempted to force it via python using the legacy fbx importer and forcing some material order assignment, but that didn’t work either.

Is this a known bug, or do you know some place in the code where we can explicitly tell it to use the FBX order?
