How does RS set the initial camera parameters when a prior calibration is not given?
In particular how does it choose a distortion model and determine focal length, sensor size, and focal length in pixels? In Metashape it is possible to set all of those via the GUI, but in RS only the model.
If the answer is ‘it looks in the EXIF’, what happens when the photos have none? Or when the EXIF has wrong information, not unusual when photos have been resized.
