Increase lightmap resolution

Trying to improve quality of my light baking, so my obvious first step is to check my Lightmass settings and also the resolution of the actual Lightmap for my level.

I see it is only 512x512 but have no idea where to adjust this.

Can’t see anything relevant in the Lightmass Settings.

Can anyone help?


Yo need to manually select the static meshes and increase the resolution. You can also check the current values with the “Lightmap Resolution” view.

If I open my primary static mesh (stadium interior) I see it has a LM resolution of only 64!
I assume this is way too low.
What is a good setting for high quality?

That answer will vary greatly according to the size of the mesh. I would start with 512.
