The collision detection for custom npc behavior is inconsistent when they are knocked back into walls at close range

Steps to Reproduce

use grapple blade to knock a custom npc into a wall while they are standing near it

Expected Result

collision detection shouldnt fail

Observed Result

collision detection fails (see video)
