I unknowingly accumulated a large number of sanctions for the same asset and only realized it much later. When I was suspended from the Epic Creator Program for three months, I appealed all of them and explained the entire situation. However, only one appeal was accepted, which is extremely strange.
First, I uploaded several assets from Sketchfab. One of them was a pistol that looked similar to a Glock, but there were no visible trademarks, logos, or other copyright violations. I believe the automated system was triggered simply because the file was named “Glock.”
For some reason, I received around ten separate sanctions for the exact same asset without realizing it at the time. I only discovered this after the suspension had already been issued.
There was also a completely normal street asset that I downloaded from Sketchfab. Apparently, it was flagged because one of the textures contained the words “Food and Wine.” This makes no sense. I could understand a sanction if the texture actually showed alcohol or promoted alcoholic products, but it only contained the word “Wine,” which I did not notice beforehand.
The final asset, called “Weaponoverlayblue,” was simply an image of a Glock-like weapon without any trademarks, logos, or prohibited symbols.
The strangest part is that one appeal for this asset was accepted, while two other appeals involving the exact same asset were rejected. These inconsistent decisions are extremely confusing and make it seem as though the sanctions were not reviewed properly.
I contacted Epic Games Support multiple times (via live chat), and they couldn’t offer me any help at all; they gave the same reply every time. almost as if I were chatting with an AI. I also waited four days for an email response that simply said, “We cannot lift the ban” incredibly poor service. wow. and then they banned me from live chat. and to my last email they didnt even respond, they just closed it.

I’m pretty sure some people here will try to tear me apart because, in their world, Epic Games is always right. okay, no problem, but please come with arguments explaining why I’m wrong I’m ready to have a discussion like a rational person. Thanks.
I haven’t violated a single rule here. Maybe with that one asset involving Wine you could argue I was in the wrong there but the other 10 assets? Hell no. I haven’t broken a single rule.
So, I am once again calling on Epic Games to review my case thoroughly! I’m not stopping until I’m unbanned. 90 days for what?
