In UE project 5.3, the id card is rendered normally, but in 5.4, the id card render is colored green.

Hello everyone)

I have a small sequel with animations, destructions, etc. I’m trying to render it in the render queue. At first I tried to render everything in layers, but the computer did not pull out. Now I thought it would be better to just upload the ID mask.

I did everything as in the documentation (Cinematic Render Passes in Unreal Engine | Unreal Engine 5.1 Documentation | Epic Developer Community)

And here is the situation: In AE, if you do everything with cryptomatte, then my whole scene is painted solid green, and The EXtractoR doesn’t see anything at all. It’s the same in PS…

In the new empty UE project version 5.3! everything works fine, I rendered the cube, and it is separated on the id card in AE…

BUT in the new empty UE project version 5.4! (in this version I have the main project), the id card render showed a solid green color…

Am I doing something wrong or is it a problem with the latest version of the engine?

Greetings @TravKoVoD

Welcome to the Unreal Engine Community Forum! I’d be happy to take a look at the issue. Do you have a screen shot, by chance? Thanks!

Hi. The problem was solved by itself when instead of rendering “Remote”, I started the render in "Local"mode.

Strange, but yes, it helped…

I can show you what my green ID-card result looked like(what I meant in the question)…

Here is the result after rendering in “Local” mode…

Oh, I see! Well, I’m glad you got it fixed in either case! Thanks for providing the solution, too. This helps other people who search the forum when they run into the same problem.
