Again not a biggy but should be factually correct. The ref is to UE not UEFN

I came here to post about it and scanned first for a report and found yours, just opened it and did not even ask my question. Does it work correctly?

FORT-1006769 is ‘Closed’ as ‘Fixed’. The issue will be addressed in 38.00.

Not fixed, not every time, but very often when opening UEFN it will use the UE assistant instead, and there is no way to switch to UEFN, it just spits out garbage about violating terms of service.

hi all.

When just uefn loaded work fine.

When you have UE 5.7 loaded AFTER UEFN thats when problems occur

just happened and nothing in logs because IMHO the UE 5.7 overwrites something and

when you go back to UEFN/5.8 then uses UE 5.7 and thats where the problem is in UE 5.7

  1. The assistant becomes unresponsive and cannot type messages.
  2. When code is provided, the conversation slows down significantly after a few conversation.
  3. Code output is sometimes incomplete (partial code).
  4. The assistant fails to use proper code markdown formatting, instead displaying raw code as plain text messages.
  5. Performance measurements show:
    INP values increase from the expected 40–50 ms baseline to 5000–20000 ms.
    Typing and message responsiveness are heavily impaired.
    Makes the assistant impractical for real-time conversation or coding tasks.
