Importing Issues

I’m having an issue with a model created within sketchup but downloaded as a .dae for blender which I want to export as an .FBX into UE5. So far UE5 will only take it as a .OBJ without crashing during the import process. And yes the file is on the larger side (71MB) and complex but I don’t think size is what’s giving unreal so much trouble with it. When I examined the models within blender they looked liked this:

I have no idea what’s going on with the lines but it doesn’t seem normal. I’ve tried a bunch of different tricks at reducing vertices and the like but it still behaves the same way.
