Hi, maybe someone knows why the imported object from 3DMax in fbx format is partially transparent, it all depends on which side to look at the object. On the first image is a view from inside the cabin, in the second image is a view from the outside of the cabin.
You need to give some volume to your roof so the normals are pointing up on the top of the roof and down on the inside of the roof. Right now you normals are pointing only up, which makes the roof transparent when seen from the bottom.
Another quick fix is to go into the material you are applying to the roof and check Two Sided.

I agree with adding the needed geometry. If you already have faces on the inside then check the normals to make sure they are in the right direction. Adding the geometry is definitely preferable to setting the material to two sided (it should be more efficient).
