Imported a mesh to UE5, Mesh appears shadow-y

I’m not really sure how else to describe what’s happening.


It has this massive blotchy shadow look on it. I immediately thought that the normals needed to be flipped and I did do that but it still looks wrong.
Here it is in Blender with the face orientation as well

Any help would be appreciated!

Hi, it seems like this is kind of a common problem when exporting from Blender.

Make sure the normals are correct and then make sure to apply the scale in Blender. Here is another forum post with a similar problem and a solution.
