Import Issues on character Asset from Maya FBX

Hello there, I have followed tutorials online on exporting my fbx from an adapted Artv1 rig in maya to then import into unreal.
It says to use unreal 4.21 as this works with Artv1 rig. Im using fbx exporter 2020 and maya 2020.2.
I select the bones in the skeleton and mesh in maya with the correct settings in maya and export.

I then load this into unreal and select use the unreal mannequin skeleton as the bone structure is the same. I lose textures, the meshes becomes distorted and my bones dont get recognised. Please see pictures and video below:

Does anyone know how to fix this please? this has halted my progress :confused:
