I'm experiencing an issue with games that use Anti-Cheat systems.

  1. I’m experiencing an issue with games that use Anti-Cheat systems. Specifically, I encounter frequent frame drops and intermittent lag, even though my system is powerful (Ryzen 7 7700 and RTX 5070). I’ve updated all drivers, and the issue only occurs with Anti-Cheat games. Other games without Anti-Cheat run perfectly fine. I’ve tried all recommended troubleshooting steps without success. I would appreciate any assistance you can provide.

Hi @7snny ,
Since you already tried several basic solutions, such as running the game and the launcher as administrator, disabling overlays (Steam, Discord, GeForce Experience, Xbox Game Bar), and pausing or disabling third-party antivirus and firewall. Also keep in mind that the latest driver updates don’t always work properly; sometimes it’s better to try an earlier version.

In addition, I found this solution that could fix your issue:

  • Search for “Power Options” in Windows Settings or Control Panel.
  • Select your current power plan and click “Change plan settings”.
  • Then click “Change advanced power settings”.
  • In the window that opens, expand “USB settings” : “USB selective suspend setting”.
  • Set the option to Disabled.

Hope this helps!
