Hello,
I have this issue i cant get over with, I need to set up a normal with World Align, but there seems to be a problem where the calculation goes wrong somewhere, and I can’t identify where exaclty. I followed a tutorial step by step but can’t get my head around why something so simple doesn’t work. Here is my material setup:
And this is how it renders:
As you can see from the image, some sort of direction is flipped, the wrong side is shaded, although the front side renders correctly. Please help xD

Out of interest, is that cube’s rotation 0,0,0?
Yes, but i have the same material applied to a stone wall and its the same error.

If it looks bad at non-zero rotations, then it’s the bug in that world aligned normal node.
I can’t recall exactly which vid it is, but this guy goes into a lot of depth about the problem
Or, you can just get something like this
Uh super nice tutorial, but didnt work perfectly, now X and Z projections are correct but something is wrong with Y
At this point im quite sure its something on my end, but i cant fathom what, all im using is simple texture setup just to be safe
WOOOHOOOO the Fab Advenced asset worked! Thank you dude… i was lost for 2 days for this… havent even thought about checking if anyone has an asset for it because it seemed so simple..

That asset also have a moveable world aligned material, which is useful. You can move the object without that weird scrolling effect
