It was supposed to be part of a game on unity that we did, but the project was cancelled so I remade it on unreal as a modular asset for the marketplace.
It took me a few months to create the design for the piece, I didn’t want it to go to waste.
Im pretty proud of this one.

As a total sucker of all things historic libraries - this is absolutely rad. Especially your use of warm lighting with the candles and fireplace, they give a really cozy feeling. Its the curved staircase however, that took my breath away. Genuinely stunning. How long did it take you to create this in Unreal?
The design took a few month for unity and it took me 3 week to recreate everything for unreal.
The light was the hard part.
mainly due to the size of the room and the fact that the wood color of the wall absorbs a lot of light.
The light was definitely worth the time invested. Absolutely beautiful 
Thanks, im working on another project similar to this one im trying to add more detail to the meshes. But both will be compatible.
