I get yellow lines all over the viewport when i make a a new project in ue5

The lines disappear when i play the game but come back right when i exit. does anyone know the reason, im very new to ue and gamedev in general just 6hrs old. the engine eventually crashes, and the crash report is unreadable like blocks of words, am i doing something whrong?
only happens in the ue5-0-1

A picture would help

it looks like this. it started after the foliage tool crashed the game.

In some weird way, I think that’s your foliage. Just delete your foliage.

how do i delete foliage isnt it built in

Just hit the delete key when it’s yellow like that.

i do no have eany folliage in the scene right now. to make it clear i was working oon a project and started usin the foliage tool. i kept one area and the system crashed. from then on every project i open new or old is like this. i tried what you said, it didnt work

That yellow ‘thing’ really looks like a selected item. So trying to remove it is not a bad idea.

If it’s not that, then I guess your GPU could be dodgy. Are the drivers up to date?

i have no gpu, just using the gpu integrated in my core i7 cpu, intel 750.

though evrything worked fine until recently. the other version r okay just 5

I have the same problem
Any solution so far?

I am experiencing the same thing with an LG Gram.
It was doing this from startup. I will check windows and any other possible updates.

After some further poking around I think I have a workable solution. The TLDR is that it appears to be an issue with some graphics drivers.
I am running windows 10 with an I7 and integrated graphics.
I opened “Intel Graphics Command Center”, clicked the support question mark on the left side bar, then clicked the “Download Graphics Driver” Button in the middle. I allowed it to download, it prompted a restart and from there everything seems to be working as anticipated when opening a new project.
