Hello, I have a serious problem and it seems incredible to me what is happening, because it is not normal that you can not revert the installation of a preview version.
I did some work on version 2023.1 preview 1 and it automatically upgraded me to preview 2 and now it turns out that I can not open any file generated with preview 1. The worst thing is that I can not recover the previous version and I am left in a computer limbo in which I am supposed to have lost a lot of work.
Is there any way to recover my files and reopen them somehow?
I'm curious to know what the obstacle is? I converted someone's preview 1 file to preview 2 for them but they still couldn't open it because their hardware is insufficient. What exactly is it saying when you try to convert the file?
However, I have noticed when working with this new version that it is plagued with bugs, because it does strange things, it does not paint the object selections and it crashes more easily. On the other hand I do not like the layout of the property tables and how they are organized, they are not configurable and can not be undocked to organize them to your liking. The interface still looks like a "toy" to me. I'm afraid they have rushed a bit in releasing this new version.
This is an error that happens once you are trying to access something that does not exist. This version is not be able to open some assets included in the scene. Nothing to do with the graphics card.

Yes, this morning when I went to open Twinmotion it asked me for the update and I assumed that it would bring the solution. Then I was able to open all the files I had with the preview version 1 without problems.

Thank you for submitting a bug report regarding the persisting issue converting the file from Preview 1 to Preview 2 after the hotfix, I see that we have logged a report for this and the development team is actively investigating.
For others experiencing this issue, if you are encountering a crash converting a Preview 1 file to Preview 2, we've released a hotfix this past Monday to address this and some other critical issues reported. This update would replace the current Preview 2 in the launcher.

@Morgan Crockett Can you take a look at my situation.... It sounds related, but isnt working. I am pretty sure I have the update CL-2. Is there anyway to recover my work?
