Having the exact same issue, just stopping sometimes at 34% also 
Very frustrating issue, I can’t building lighting without it vomiting on me. Think it has to do something with using up too much RAM.
Anyway It pretty much stopped all development for me, it’s really frustrating not being able to build the lighting. Also would like to say I don’t get any sort of crash report whatsoever, I just get a standard “Unreal Engine 4 has stopped working” message from Windows.
Running Windows 7 Pro, 8GB RAM, Core i7 @ 2.90 GHz, Intel HD Graphics 4600.
