I can't build for Quest 2 but I can for Quest 3 using Unreal Engine 5.4.4.

Hello! I’ve been working for a few weeks on porting a game to the Quest versions. From the beginning, the Quest 2 version has given us problems. Basically, when we load it, it crashes and doesn’t provide much feedback beyond an assertion fail. (Log attached)

There are several interesting points you should know. First, this was originally an Unreal 4.27 project (where the Quest 2 version worked), and it was recently switched to Unreal 5.

You’ll also see an error from a “VRweapons” component. We don’t believe that’s the issue, as this project comes from a template of the package with the same name that works perfectly on Quest 2 and has the same error (it tries to access a multiplayer mode, but since it doesn’t exist, it reverts to normal mode).

Any idea what might be happening? A friend suggested it could be that some game asset was “compiled” in Unreal 4 and might be corrupted in some way. Could that be the case? Any advice or similar experiences?
