Same here. Clearing cookies and site data doesn’t solve it. As soon as I log in, the “Oops! Something went wrong…” message appears.
It kind of loads for less than 1 second and then I get the message. When I clear cookies (log out) again it works but only while logged out. Tried in a different browser (Brave), same thing as with Firefox.
Yeah, looks like it’s not related to the browser.
For me it started happening after the “Verify Purchase” section was added. Before that, I was testing it all day and it worked fine.
I’m having this issue as well and unlike with everyone else here seemingly, logging out isn’t actually solving the issue. Clearing the cache didn’t work either so I have no idea what could be going wrong. I even cleared out RAM on my main computer using dedicated software. So whatever the problem is doesn’t seem to be specific to my machine.
If it helps, I worked around the login issue by logging into my account via a different route first. I logged into Reality Scan (https://www.unrealengine.com/en-US/realityscan) with my unreal account, and then clicked the marketplace tab at the top to work my way back to Fab and then logged into Megascans successfully. I can now see my library (although, oddly, it has a couple of items duplicated) and add new downloads.
There is definitely something amiss with the Fab login though, so Login to the Unrealengine domain first and navigate across to fab so your login comes with you…
Not Exactly the same problem cause I try to access fab.com without logging in but
when I try to access fab.com the web page starts to load and after 1 or 3 seconds… Oops! Something went wrong…
When I inspect the page I got:
React Router caught the following error during render TypeError: l.toReversed is not a function.
And:
WebSocket connection to ‘ws://127.0.0.1:5500//ws’ failed:
I have the same issue. I checked the browser logs, and it shows a server error 500. I tried logging into my account using different browsers, but the problem persists. I asked a friend to log into his account on my computer, and he was able to do so without any issues, which indicates the problem is on the server side. If I don’t clear the cookies, any page I try to access while logged into my account shows the error message: “Oops! Something went wrong…”
Same issue here. I even try on other computer.
It looks like it should be my account that is causing the issue, logging into another account will log into fab. The only difference between the two accounts is whether or not there is money spent on assets on marketplace.
I have some progress with that. You need to delete an only one cookie named ‘sa_sessionid’, or something like that. Like @KEVINAYO described.
After that you cold have possibility to browse and add some free content to your library. Added content even appeared in My Vault. But no ‘My Library’ tab access or account access.
If you got ‘Undercunstruction’, just delete ‘sa_sessionid’ again and open main page.
I didn’t try to buy something, sorry.
One more thing. I can’t download and add to project anything transferred to the fab. Assets that was left on marketplace can be easily downloaded and added.
